With over 20 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, I bring a well-rounded, science-based approach to fitness—working with individuals of all ages, abilities, and goals. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, my focus is on helping clients build strength, move better, and improve overall health through safe, effective, and personalized training.
My background spans multiple areas of the fitness and health industry. I’ve worked as a fitness professional in a retirement community in Florida, helping older adults improve balance, mobility, and independence. I’ve owned and operated fitness studios, led group and private training, and taught within exercise science programs—educating future fitness professionals. I’ve also worked in a physical therapy setting, giving me a strong understanding of injury prevention, recovery, and corrective exercise.
For 10 years, I owned and operated Fitness by Design in Berlin, CT, where I worked with a wide range of clients—from beginners to experienced exercisers, and from those recovering from injury to those looking to build strength and performance.
This diverse experience allows me to meet each client where they are, whether they are just getting started, returning from injury, or looking to take their training to the next level. Every program is designed with attention to proper technique, progression, and long-term results.
My approach is simple: training should be effective, sustainable, and tailored to the individual. The goal isn’t just short-term progress—it’s building strength, resilience, and confidence that carries into everyday life.
